Five Years
Technology is a conversation, not a manifesto. It never stands still. It evolves, each iteration introducing capabilities and challenges that no one could have imagined even just a few months prior. It empowers us, changes us, reveals our humanity, and becomes an important part of our lives.
It gets torn down and replaced by something better, something newer. It might be a surgical refinement or wholesale replacement, but the revolutions are rapid and relentless. Modern technology is a map of progress punctuated by impermanence.
The success of any one product is often defined by its longevity, but human progress is measured by iteration. It's not enough to do better once, true success requires the continuous destruction of past successes.
Five years ago we began our journey with forScore 1.0 and we put everything we knew into crafting it. We learned more, and it grew. Today we can look back and measure our success in chapters: versions of our vision to create the best sheet music reader yet, at least until we make a better one.
