Citing production delays, AirTurn today announced that they are expecting to begin taking orders for the BT-105 Bluetooth page turner this Friday, November 19th, instead of today as originally planned. According to AirTurn, the BT-105 will ship beginning Monday, the 22nd.
Even at this stage, without any orders having been taken, it appears as though demand for the BT-105 will be extraordinary, so be sure to check back in this Friday morning to get your order in early! If you can, please consider helping support forScore by using our specific affiliate link when placing your order.

With the upcoming release of iOS 4.2, we wanted to take a moment to talk about our next update, forScore 2.1. This update, which we submitted to Apple for approval last week, is fully tested and compatible with iOS 4.2.
This update also adds support for AirPrint, which allows you to print files directly from your iPad to an AirPrint-compatible printer. You can choose to either print the original PDF file itself, or you can print a series of screenshots that also include your annotations.
Version 2.1 also adds new features like the ability to duplicate setlists, includes new stamps for guitarists, and further refines many of the dozens of features that were introduced in forScore 2.
We don’t have exact timing for the release of forScore 2.1 and iOS 4.2, but we’re expecting both of these updates to be available very soon.
Update: Apple appears to have removed the ability for AirPrint to utilize shared printers connected to Macs running 10.6.5 or PCs with iTunes 10.1. We are obviously disappointed that this feature will no longer be available for the vast majority of our users and hope that Apple has postponed it instead of canceling it entirely. Until Apple chooses to notify us about this change, the status of AirPrint is purely speculative, but we’ll update this article as soon as new information becomes available.
Version 2.0.1 is now available and is recommended for all users of forScore 2. This update resolves issues with setlist navigation and reorganization, and improves recovery routines.
forScore 2 has been officially released, and is available immediately for $4.99 or as a free update for existing users. With features like half-page turns, Bluetooth file sharing, and bookmarks, it’s a huge leap forward that will delight musicians everywhere.
This release is accompanied by a complete overhaul of our site as well a minor update to forScore Mac (now version 1.1). This update adds the ability to embed difficulty and rating information directly into PDF files for use with forScore 2 or later.
We’re very proud of the work we’ve done with these updates, and we couldn’t have done it without the tremendous support of our customers. Thank you all!
