Introducing Cue 3
Today we’re excited to announce the release of Cue 3 alongside updates to all of our Music Box apps. These updates are all optimized for OS 27, they feature beautiful new icons, and all now support the same 24 languages and regional locales that we’re standardizing across all of our apps this year.
The Cue app, in particular, gets the biggest set of upgrades of the bunch. In addition to bug fixes and improved reliability, we’ve added a new Group ID so you can connect only to other devices that share that same ID. Dual Page mode now handles temporarily lost connections better so you’re not constantly having to reconnect manually, and the Cue 2 protocol now works over other network types—not just Wifi.
That’s just the start though, because we’re also introducing an Apple Watch app bundled with Cue that works a lot like a Bluetooth page turner. It connects directly to forScore 15.2 on a nearby iPad, iPhone, or Mac and lets you turn pages with a tap. There are four different button layouts, including one with A and B buttons that can be customized using forScore’s Page Turners & Shortcuts interface. You can even set up Apple Watch Ultra’s action button to turn the page without raising your wrist.
These exciting free Music Box updates are available now, exclusively on the App Store.
